Ugh, geologists. I'm not even IN a geology class and I have to put up with their crap! First there was "clinkery," now there's "hummocky." Seriously guys, don't you have someone proof these things?
While I was in Ireland researching my essay topic, I came across a few funny terms, this time from geographers and archaeologists. My favorites included "neothermal," which is a pretentious, academic-y term for anything after the Ice Age, and "post-prehistoric," which is just plain ridiculous.
